Heart disease is the
#1 killer of women in the United States. On Friday,
February 1, AAHPS employees joined the rest of Athens in
wearing red to create awareness about women and heart
disease! The Go Red for Women campaign was launched in
February of 2004. At that time, only 13% of women could
identify heart disease as their leading health threat.
